Open House & Fundraiser

On October 22nd Le Chateau Royal held an Open House featuring an Art Exhibit in support of The West Island Association for the Intellectually Handicapped. Over $2,000.00 was raised for this good cause, in part from proceeds of a raffle of two lovely pieces – a limited edition Bill Saunders giclée donated by Liberty Assisted Living and an original painting graciously donated by one of Le Chateau Royal’s residents. The WIAIH was very grateful for efforts made on their behalf and for proceeds of sales, which will be used to the benefit of their much deserving clientele.

Many tours of the building were given and visitors enjoyed a relaxing atmosphere of music and beautiful works of art, while sipping wine and nibbling on a selection of fine cheese, pâté, fruit and more.
